In
thinking about all of the national parks in the continental US, Bryce
and Zion are tops for their color, beauty and sheer magnificence. Sunrise
and sunset light give a magical glow to the rocks, unobtainable anywhere
else in the world. When juxtaposed with a dusting of snow or brilliant
fall color, their drama is unrivaled.
At 8,000 feet in elevation, it's not uncommon for the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon to be layered in snow. At first light, the spires of Bryce seem to glow from within. Witnessing the play of light upon the columns that dominate the canyon is worth the trip unto itself. Being able to record it on your digital sensor is extra special. Photographers from all over make it a destination to photograph autumn colored leaves. Not only will we focus on the canyon area itself, we'll concentrate on the colorful red rock section on the eastern side of the park.
Cost: $1,525.00 / Single Supplement of $350.00 (Price subject to gasoline surcharge of up to $40.00 depending on how much higher gas rises above $3.00 per gallon). Price includes lodging based on double occupancy, ground transportation from the point of origin, entrance fees into all parks while on the tour, photographic instruction, and knowledge and expertise of each location.
