Oregon / Northern California / Redwoods
This trip is scheduled for 10 days to provide us with as many opportunities to catch all the moods of the Oregon and Northern California coasts and Redwoods at each of their spectacular locations.
Photographers wishing to add spectacular images of rugged coastlines, sea stacks silhouetted against dramatic sunsets, tide pools teaming with life, fern and moss entrenched rain forests, fog enshrouded rhododendron bushes, roosevelt elk, and dramatic sea cliffs carved by the Pacific, should participate on this trip. Wide angle seascapes, short telephoto images of birds, and possible sea lion photography will keep us busy. Additionally, there will be many opportunities to wear out macro lenses shooting close ups, flowers and plant life.
On this tour, we'll visit the most dramatic coastal state parks, the most popular light houses, areas known for dramatic wave action and other locations that beckon motor drives to remain on continuous high. Our travels to northern California will allow us to photograph rhododendron bushes in full bloom and the magnificent roosevelt elk. Besides the dramatic sunset, lighthouse and tide pool shots, images of driftwood patterns, rain forests, crashing waves, capes with patterned dune grasses, sand patterns, sea birds and myriads of other great photographic subjects lure the photographer to Oregon and northern California.
Cost: $ 1,925.00 / Single Supplement of $450.00 (Price subject to gasoline surcharge of up to $40.00 depending on how much higher gas rises above $3.00 per gallon). Price includes lodging based on double occupancy, ground transportation from the point of origin, entrance fees into all parks while on the tour, photographic instruction, and knowledge and expertise of each location.
